Oldies/Newbies

Hey everyone,
Sorry for the long break between posts. A lot has been going on around here and any wind down time Ive spent reading or napping. Life has been great these last few weeks. I've really started hanging out with my class, my german is fluent and even though all our oldies left, we're getting newbies.

I went to the airport when all the australians left and when Zeni, my oldie left. Both were really sad goodbyes and lots of tears were shed and there was lots of hugs and kind words all around. Then two days later Zeni left which was even harder. She's like an older sister to me so it was really hard saying goodbye.

The next couple weeks I went to school and hung out with friends. Or went to German Course in Zurich. I always enjoy seeing my exchange student buddies and we always laugh and talk a lot. (Or teachers think too much.) Ive done art and we had three kings day which was cool.

Last friday was Kanti Fest. An 8-3 party with Kantonschule Romanschorn which was a lot of fun. The only problem was that morning I had to get up at 5 to get my newbie from the airport. That means 2 hours of sleep tops. I didn't get much sleep but I felt that it was worth it. Kat is my Newbie now. She's tall, extremely pretty, and funny. She's from Australia and will be here until next January.

We went to Santis on her second day

Coolest piece of art ever

Thanks for reading and make sure you keep up with my adventures in Switzerland!
